What is your new reality?

Lets get some dialogue going. What is something you've done that you swore you'd never do in high school? Are you a super strict parent? Is your job totally different than you imagined? Were you a homebody and have now been to more places than your family combined? Do you love living by your parents now, but had it out with them in high school. What is your new Reality? I hope no one is offended by the picture. It just made me laugh. :)

Some of the things that I never thought would happen...Well, I never thought I'd be in DC. Utah was a huge step away from Rigby when I went to college, I thought I was really exploring the world :). Just never imagined here, but I love it here. I hated science in high school, but loved it and wound up majoring in it in college??. Now that I have kids I think, "What were my parents thinking letting Shana and I have parties while they stayed at a hotel in IF." We were pretty good kids, but I don't think I'll ever let me kids do that! I sure had a lot of fun in high school though :)

I never thought I'd live in Idaho or attend BYU--I actually swore I never would do either of those things!

NEVER?!! Well, there are too many to mention. I never thought I'd have a full blown career as a hair stylist. I've been styling hair for the last 8 years, and I never thought I'd do it that long. I never thought I'd live in Arizona, Utah, or Boise, Id. I never thought I'd marry someone 4 years younger. I never thought I'd have to learn spanish or live somewhere where it's the native language (Details TBA). I never thought I'd say,"Mom you were right!" I also never thought I'd put myself through collage, then put my husband through it. So, the picture didn't offend me. Sometime being an adult isn't all its cracked up to be. Sigh!

I also never thought I would live in Idaho again, and here I am married to a great wonderful man from Idaho living in Pocatello, of all places....I never thought I would go thru so many ups and down and look back and say it was all worth it. I never thought in a million years I would say that I'm excited to almost be out of my 20's! wierd I know!!!
